Who do you think is better at raising, nurturing, educating, guiding and loving children - parents or the government? Your answer to this question should guide you towards supporting Michigan House Resolution NN (2008) because the opposite mirrors borderline socialism. Michigan House Resolution NN (2008) seeks to declare the fundamental right of parents and legal guardians to direct the care, upbringing, and education of their children.

Proof of the sad state of families in Michigan:
Michigan has the largest number of families in Title IV-D per capita in the nation exceeding California by over 2 to 1.
Michigan also has the largest ratio of Title IV-D cases per minor child in the nation. Surpassing California by 236 percent: 41.52% vs. 17.63%
Close to 70% of all Michigan court activity is deeply entrenched in managing Michigan families! Our Michigan government has increasingly shifted parental responsibilities to government employees and agencies.
We have a historic opportunity in Michigan and we are asking that the Michigan Family Forum create an "Action Alert" for your members to help make this resolution a reality.
We hope you will consider joining us and many other organizations in making House Resolution NN (2008) a reality. Please respond and let us know at your earliest convenience.
